john cena & bret hart vs edge & chris jericho ended in a no contest
in this week’s main event, we could all see what was coming. because edge & jericho had left team wwe for summerslam, and with the nexus being lumberjacks, who’d of guessed cena would have been thrown out numerous times, so they could beat on him?
well, we all guessed right! jericho was about to throw cena out again, and cena reversed and threw jericho out, to everyones suprise they didn’t attack jericho.
the nexus couldn’t help themselves. edge & jericho ran up the ramp & looked back, as the nexus climbed into the ring, to confront cena & bret hart. the crowd cheered, as morrison & truth ran down to the ring. then edge & jericho. just shows that they can’t do without cena’s help afterall!
they began beating on the nexus. cena throws barrett out the ring, and he shouts ‘come on!’ the nexus run out into the crowd, followed by the 6 wwe superstars. they return to the ring, and appear victorious.
as we all know, cena was hosting the award for best teen hottie with david archuleta this year. he was also interviewed on the red carpet as the show was about to start about his upcoming movie, music, etc and of course, what he was there for, who he thought would win the award he was hosting. he came up with one of the twilight guys, yeah alrighty then, i’m sure he could of thought of someone better than that! but then again, teens + twilight = drool, aparently. so yeah, there ya have it guys.

Although Team WWE is falling apart with only a week to go until SummerSlam, John Cena proved he can still perform in the ring by dominating Chris Jericho in their match.

i think that cena could cope with the members he has left, he’s proved he can dominate jericho in the ring, and he has much more experience than any of the nexus
edge quits team wwe – jericho challenges cena
edge goes backstage after his match with barrett, shouting ‘where’s cena’ and eventually finds him. cena questions the fact that edge said nobody could interfere so why should he. edge quits the team. jericho comes up to cena, and says he’s as much as a threat as the nexus, and that he should leave the team. he them challenges cena to a match, tonight. chris jerico vs john cena; loser leaves team wwe at summerslam. cena’s a little anxious because he’s just lost edge from the team, but agrees on it.

it seems as though jericho wasn’t too interested in leading team wwe, or actually being in the team in the first place. cena locks on the stf, and he taps out, well when i say locks it on, was it even locked on properly? exactly.
after the match, jericho walks up the ramp, towards the locker room. cena shouts to him and says you are the best in the world at what you do, you can go toe-to-toe with anyone in this ring. if you come down here, you can stay on the team, if you walk off you leave.
jericho has a think for a couple of seconds, walks towards the ring, then decides thats not the right decision, so walks out towards back.
at the end of a conversation between edge & jericho, an announcement is made by the mystery GM. next week it will be chris jericho & edge vs. john cena & bret ‘the hitman’ hart.

Less than three weeks before he leads a team of Raw Superstars into battle against The Nexus at SummerSlam, John Cena quickly realized that it’s hard to keep six different competitors on the same page.

it might be cena’s team, but it should be the whole team trying to keep the team going, not just cena. i also think jericho got what he deserved cause he knows the nexus as much as anyone else.
john cena at make a wish foundations cups for cause
john cena helped kick of7-Eleven’s cup with a cause benefiting the make a wish foundation recently in kansas city. until aug 30, for each cup sold, 7-Eleven will donate 20 cents to the Make a Wish Foundation!
chris jericho confronted john cena; raw gm made many announcements
last week, we saw that cena would be teaming with jericho. this week, jericho was out ‘selfing’ himself, to the wwe universe. he was claiming the anti-nexus team should be his team, not cena’s as he aparently knows the nexus more than cena, cause he was barratts mentor. to stop jericho’s self-manipulating rants, cena knocked the mic out of his hand.
to stop any arguements from taking place, the laptop shounded, meaning the gm is about to announce. michael cole announced 3 important declarations. first, the 7-on-7 tag match at summerslam, would now be a 7-on-7 elimination match. second, the nexus would battle against 7 raw superstars, in tonights main event and third, cena & jericho would put their differences aside, and team up, to face a tag team of the gm’s choice.

after tonights events, is the wwe universe even sure the anti-nexus team would make it to summerslam, as a team? cena & jerichos partnership decended into arguement. while cena may have been occupied by jericho’s mouth, he was still ready for the miz when the match began. he nailed him with an attitude adjustment. while he was awaiting him to get up, he turned around, and jericho slammed on a codebreaker to cena, allowing the miz to pin for victory. jericho tried to lock on the walls of jericho, which cena turned into an sTF.
not long after, the remaining wwe superstars on the 7 man team came to the ring including edge, the great khali, r-truth & john morrison. while khali was trying to make peace with jericho & cena, edge nailed him with a spear, knocking him flat to the ground. the rest of the team, started squabbling with each other, leaving us all wondering, if they really are gonna make it to the summerslam match?
